Mission Statement:

Our mission is to provide technology solutions that promote independence, safety, and improved quality of life for elderly and special needs clients living in private homes or community-based settings.

Assisted Living Technologies, Inc. was established in 2010 and provides technologically advanced products which help seniors and individuals with special needs live at home safely.

Assisted Living Technologies Inc. has recognized that there are more elderly and special needs individuals living in their homes or community-based settings and an increased need for services and technologies to keep them there safely. Assisted Living Technologies Inc. is the first company of it's type in Connecticut - a company that has a sole purpose and product line that utilizes high tech products to promote aging in place.

Assisted Living Technologies is a sister company to Assisted Living Services, Inc. Assisted Living Services, Inc. is a statewide provider of home-care services based in Meriden, Connecticut with branch locations in Clinton and Glastonbury, with expansion for other offices planned.  Established in 1996, the company has over 350 employees.

Vice President

Mario D'Aquila




Mario is the Director of Business Development for Assisted Living Services, Inc. and Vice President of Assisted Living Technologies, Inc. Mario has previous experience working in project management for Shepard Steel in Hartford, CT. He has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Construction Management from Central Connecticut State University and has earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Southern Connecticut State University.

Mario is responsible for helping both Assisted Living Technologies, Inc. and Assisted Living Services, Inc. look for new ways to grow and to have a positive impact on each company’s long-term future.



Technology Specialist:

John-Paul Mayhew



John-Paul Mayhew's role as a Technology Specialist for Assisted Living Technologies, Inc. involves providing professional installations and technical support for our various products. John-Paul has significant experience in the field of durable medical equipment and home health. He has been a rehabilitation modification equipment technician and service technician for over 10 years. He is computer and technical savvy and understands our products well.  In addition, John-Paul receives training from many of our expert product vendors to keep him abreast of all aspects of the latest and most advanced products we utilize. Technology Specialist:

Julianne Abernathy


As a Technology Specialist Julianne is responsible for providing top notch technical support and punctual professional installations. Julianne has extensive experience working with communication programs that assisted students with severe developmental disabilities.  She has the ability to customize and modify various communication devices and other assistive technology devices - an area that Assisted Living Technologies, Inc. would like to begin to explore.  Some of the programs in which she has mastered use of include Dynavox, GoTalkNow, Proloquo, and Proxtalker.  Julianne is very competent in the use of computers and software and enjoys opportunities to teach and train others.  Julianne attended Manchester Community College where she has taken coursework in pursuit of her A.S. as a Disability Specialist.
