Assisted Living Technologies Recognized for CarePlus Program

The DecisionHealth® Platinum Private Duty Awards recognize professionals and organizations who demonstrate success in the healthcare continuum across the nation and Connecticut’s own Assisted Living Services, Inc. and Assisted Living Technologies, Inc. were recently awarded for their CarePlus Program and use of automated medication dispensers.

The winners were announced during the 20th Annual Private Duty National Conference & Expo, which took place at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, NV, from November 15-17.

Assisted Living Services and Assisted Living Technologies won Honorable Mention in the Outstanding Achievement in Technology category, for the Adoption of New Technology and Innovation. The prestigious category recognizes companies that have developed a new solution for improving operations.

“We are unique in the senior-care industry in that we offer both full-spectrum home care services with a vast product line of innovative technology solutions that help seniors age safely in place, said Ron D’Aquila, RN, Vice President of Assisted Living Services and President of Assisted Living Technologies. “We are proud to shine a national spotlight on our CarePlus Program, which blends both care and technology to better serve Connecticut’s elderly and disabled population.” The agency provides the technology that best supplements care – free of charge with the goal being to reduce the risk of falls, improve medication compliance, or have rapid access to emergency care.

Assisted Living Services, Inc. and Assisted Living Technologies, Inc. are based in Meriden, Connecticut with branch locations in Clinton and Fairfield. Parent company Assisted Living Services, Inc. has been in business for over 20 years.
