MedMinder Medication Management

MedMinder pill dispenser is the most effective and affordable medication management solution available to improve medication adherence to above 90%. Besides enabling personal interventions from caregivers and family members, MedMinder offers users a sense of comfort, independence, and companionship.

MedMinder pill dispenser looks like a basic seven-day pillbox. Designed with ease of use in mind, its simple and friendly interface has no digital readouts or buttons. The medication dispenser contains 28 compartments for a week supply of medication and can accommodate dozens of different types of pills.

The MedMinder pill dispenser is equipped with wireless technology (internal cellular modem) that updates MedMinder central computer about the patient’s dosage activity. This information is available online for caregivers who can also receive immediate email or text message notifications and weekly reports.

You or your caregiver can easily program the pill dispenser and customize preferences remotely via the Internet. You can also call us, and we will do this for you. At the patient’s home, there is no need for a computer, phone line, wireless router, or any other form of Internet access and all that is required is electricity and cellular coverage.

Once the MedMinder pill dispenser is set up, it provides the following:

Patient reminders: When it’s time to take a medication, the appropriate compartment flashes. If the cup is not removed within the assigned time frame, the patient can get auditory prompts as well as optional automatic phone calls, text messages, and emails.

Remote monitoring capabilities: MedMinder keeps records of patient activities. The caregiver can access this information via the Internet or receive real-time email or text message notifications.

Medical Alerts: With the push of a button the pill dispenser will open a two-way voice channel with the professionals at the UL certified monitoring center. The wireless pendants are waterproof, feature 800 feet of transmission range, a long-life battery, and have a necklace or a watchband design.

Unlocked – All medication compartments are unlocked and accessible at any time.

Locked – All medication compartments are locked and only accessible at the designated dosage time.

Refilling Options:

Two easy re-filling options:

Manual: Simply lifting the MedMinder's lid opens all the 28 compartments, allowing the caregiver or patient to place the medications in the proper cups.

Pre-filled tray: MedMinder pill dispenser also accepts MedMinder-supplied trays pre-filled by a pharmacist. This feature greatly reduces the risk of medication errors and ensures all compartments are correctly filled. (Not included)

MedMinder provides rich reports regarding medication activity. Detailed reports show when cups were taken out of the medication dispenser, when refilled and if any medications were missed.

Medical alert systems to help seniors live safe and independent.

Medical alert systems are designed to get loved ones medical help promptly, specifically those who are a fall risk. The equipment typically consists of two components: First is the base station, which plugs into a standard electrical outlet and a standard phone jack. Second, the transmitter – a wearable help button usually worn as a necklace or wrist band. During an emergency, the user would press their medical alert button and it will transmit a signal to our 24/7 USA-Based monitoring center. A trained dispatcher will come over the device speaker to check the user’s status and send necessary help.

Assisted Living Technologies provides full services nationwide.

Once the order is place, we will have your medical alert system in the mail within 1-2 business days. Typically, the unit will arrive within 5-9 business days after shipment, depending on your location and weather conditions. Express shipping is also available. The system can be installed and tested as soon as the user receives it.

Your system will be set off as it would in a real emergency, but don’t panic. A dispatcher will come over the base unit to check if you need help. Simply let them know everything is okay and it was an accident. Please make sure you respond to them or they might think it is a real emergency and contact your family and/or send emergency personnel to your house.
