Client Spotlight: Carol’s Story — Three Years of Safety, Confidence, and Unmatched Support

11/19/25

At Assisted Living Technologies, Inc., we have the privilege of supporting thousands of families who trust us to help keep their loved ones safe and independent. This month, we’re proud to highlight a longtime client, Carol, whose experience perfectly captures what our services are designed to provide: confidence, protection, and peace of mind.

We spoke with Carol’s family about their journey, how they came to choose our services, and the difference it has made in their everyday lives.

“We needed something to keep Mom safe.”

Three years ago, Carol’s family found themselves facing a growing concern — their elderly mother was living alone, becoming more vulnerable, and experiencing falls. Like many families navigating the challenges of aging, they knew they needed a reliable solution that would allow her to stay independent while ensuring she wasn’t alone in an emergency.

“Our elderly mother was living alone and became more vulnerable, falling, etc. That’s what led us to sign up for your services.”

With that, they turned to Assisted Living Technologies, Inc. for a dependable, responsive safety system that could support both Carol and her family.

A device that brings daily “mental security”

Since becoming a client, Carol has worn her device consistently — and according to her family, the impact has been tremendous.

“It has given her a lot of mental security. She has it on all the time.”

One feature stands out to them: the automatic fall detection.

“She likes that if she falls, she doesn’t even have to press the button — the device senses it and alerts the service.”

For families balancing independence and safety, this real-time protection brings comfort that’s impossible to quantify.

Rapid response when it matters most

Carol has experienced falls while using the device, and her family shared one moment that solidified how important the service is to them.

“She has fallen and you responded immediately. Even though she was able to get up and call someone to take her to the hospital, knowing you were already there made us feel so secure.”

That sense of security is exactly why our monitoring team works around the clock — so families never have to worry about what might happen when no one is there.

“Just excellent” customer service

When asked about their experience with our support team, Carol’s family didn’t hesitate.

“Just excellent.”

Whether it’s answering questions, troubleshooting, or providing reassurance, our team takes pride in being as compassionate as we are dependable.

“Your company answers the phone if we have to call for anything.”

It’s a simple statement — but one that means everything when a loved one's safety is on the line.

Highly recommended — and for good reason

Carol’s family has already recommended our services to others, and their reasons speak to the heart of what makes Assisted Living Technologies, Inc. different.

“The big national service that does commercials on TV is a lot more expensive. I have told people don’t even bother calling around — your service is great and very reasonably priced.”

We are incredibly grateful for their trust and their willingness to share their story with other families who may be looking for the same peace of mind.

A heartfelt thank you

To Carol and her family: thank you for being part of the Assisted Living Technologies family for the past three years. Your story is a reminder of why we do what we do: to provide safety, dignity, and support to individuals and families who deserve nothing less!

Newsletter #1: The Lifesaving Comfort: Why Every Home Needs a Medical Alert System

03/4/2024

We hope this newsletter finds you in good health and high spirits. Today, we want to shed light on a topic that might not be on the top of everyone's mind every day but holds immeasurable importance—having a medical alert system in the home, especially for seniors and individuals in need.

The Unseen Guardian:

Imagine having a silent guardian in your home, always ready to respond in times of need. That's precisely what a medical alert system offers. It might not be something you actively think about every day, but when the unexpected happens, having that immediate connection to help becomes invaluable.

Peace of Mind for Loved Ones:

For families with elderly members or individuals facing health challenges, a medical alert system provides a profound sense of peace. Knowing that help is just a button press away offers reassurance and allows everyone to breathe a little easier, knowing that emergencies can be managed swiftly and effectively.

Independence Preserved:

One common concern is the fear of losing independence with age or health issues. A medical alert system, however, can be the key to maintaining independence. By providing a quick and reliable link to emergency services, seniors can continue living on their terms, knowing that assistance is within arm's reach.

Not Just for Emergencies:

While the primary purpose of a medical alert system is to handle emergencies, it can be a versatile tool for everyday life. Whether it's a sudden fall, feeling unwell, or simply needing assistance, the system ensures help is on the way promptly. It's like having a safety net that's always there, even if you don't need it every day.

Technology with Heart:

Today's medical alert systems are designed with user-friendliness in mind. Sleek, comfortable devices and easy-to-use interfaces make them a seamless addition to any home. The combination of advanced technology and human touch creates a safety net that is both efficient and compassionate.

Your Partner in Safety:

In conclusion, a medical alert system is more than just a piece of technology; it's a reliable partner in safety. It's there when you need it, ensuring that emergencies are handled with the swiftness and care they deserve. So, while you might not use it every day, the peace of mind it brings is a daily gift.
